Sebewaing is in the middle of a redevelopment boom. A 6.5-acre-old industrial site in the downtown is being cleared for redevelopment which started in 2019 with the construction of a $2.5 million assisted living facility. In addition, work has started on several retail/commercial renovations in the downtown area.
